Guides
Short, practical notes for evaluating digital products. These are general educational guides, not reviews, and they do not claim hands-on testing of any specific product.
How to evaluate a digital product
- Define the problem you want solved before you look at features.
- Identify who publishes the product and how long it has existed. Look for independent documentation.
- Be cautious of income promises, unverifiable testimonials and countdown timers that reset.
- Check what you actually receive: a download, a license, or access to a hosted service.
Watch for recurring costs
Many tools advertise a low first payment, then renew monthly or yearly. Before buying, find the renewal price, the billing period, how to cancel, and whether upgrades or add-ons are required for the features you need.
Check the refund policy first
Read the vendor's own refund terms on its official page. Note the time window, any conditions, and who processes the refund (the vendor or the payment platform). Keep your order confirmation.
How affiliate marketing works
An affiliate link contains an identifier so the seller can credit a referral. If you buy through it, the referrer may receive a commission, and the price you pay does not change. This can influence what a site chooses to feature, which is why we label sponsored links and explain our approach in the affiliate disclosure.
